Sales Representative

Client Overview

Our client is a long-established seafood supplier with nearly 100 years of experience, located in Newark, NJ. They provide high-quality seafood products, including calamari, fin fish, octopus, shellfish, and breaded seafood, to restaurants and food-service providers. They are currently looking to add a Sales Representative to their team.

$27/hr - $30/hr depending on experience

$65k - 80k perm

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this Sales Representative role. The ideal candidate is a team player who is motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow. While the company is willing to train, candidates with prior sales, food, or seafood industry experience are highly preferred.

• Client Relationship Building:
  Support and grow relationships with the restaurant and food-service customers.
• Sales Outreach:
  Conduct outreach to new and existing clients to drive business.
• Product Familiarity:
  Learn seafood product lines to effectively support customer needs.
• Order Support:
  Assist with order entry, follow-ups, and customer service.
• Cross-Team
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Client Visits:
  Visit customers as needed (transportation reimbursed).
