About the Role
We are looking for a self‑motivated Account Manager to drive sales with new and existing accounts for advertising and content marketing sales within the engineering and physics market. The role involves prospecting for new business, managing existing account relationships, and proposing solutions from across the AIP and IEEE portfolio to support customers in achieving their marketing goals.
Responsibilities- Acquire new customers and build strong relationships with clients.
- Travel frequently to attend key business meetings and trade shows.
- Upsell existing accounts for growth within the assigned book of business.
- Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to achieve sales targets and deliver profitable sales growth.
- Sell across the physics and engineering vendor space.
- Apply a strong understanding of advertising concepts and digital ad solutions.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- 2+ years of experience prospecting, winning new business, and managing accounts.
- Proven hunter with exceptional new business acumen, driving new logo acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising and content marketing solutions.
- Experience working with Managers, Directors, and Product Managers in technical marketing roles.
- High level of accountability to achieve growth.
- Skilled negotiator and communicator.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong CRM/pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting.
- Time management and the ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
Based in our Hoboken Office, or remote.
Benefits & CompensationBase salary range: $84,300 to $124,633 USD.
