Position Summary
Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) role driving demand and adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients through scientific, label-consistent engagement and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
Responsibilities Portfolio Promotion- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow expertise.
- Build and execute territory and account plans; use CE^3 insights to inform call plans.
- Use approved resources/publications; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved) and manage logistics.
- Maintain expertise in emerging data; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
- Comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales, MSL, HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately to physicians.
- Credibility‑building experience with customers/HCP influence network; customer‑centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management and proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross‑functional collaboration; strong selling/promotional skills.
- Integrity and good judgment.
- Customer/commercial mindset, patient centricity, scientific agility, analytical + technological agility, teamwork/enterprise mindset.
- $144,500–$175,100 base; potential incentive cash/stock (eligibility‑based).
