Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Hematology- Frederick​/Fairfax, VA

Position Summary

Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) role driving demand and adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients through scientific, label-consistent engagement and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).

• Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
• Create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow expertise.
• Build and execute territory and account plans; use CE^3 insights to inform call plans.

• Use approved resources/publications; ensure medical accuracy.
• Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) consistent with label.
• Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved) and manage logistics.
• Maintain expertise in emerging data; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.

• Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
• Comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales, MSL, HCP/nurse roles.
• Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately to physicians.
• Credibility‑building experience with customers/HCP influence network; customer‑centric mindset.
• Hematology/Oncology experience required.
• Account management and proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration; strong selling/promotional skills.
• Integrity and good judgment.

• $144,500–$175,100 base; potential incentive cash/stock (eligibility‑based).
