Outside SALES Representative – Personal Care Ingredients

Our client, a well‑established distributor of specialty chemicals, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a territory spanning Maine through Virginia
. While the company serves multiple industries, this role will focus exclusively on the personal care market
—selling ingredients used in soaps, lotions, creams, shampoos, cosmetics, and related formulations directly to end users.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who understands chemical distribution and enjoys building deep, consultative relationships within R&D, formulation, and procurement teams.

• Experience selling chemicals
• Experience selling into the personal care market is a strong plus
• A four‑year college degree is preferred
• A technical degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, etc.) is a strong plus
• Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the territory
• Base salary: approximately $160K + Bonus: 20%,
