ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive revenue growth across our drayage, transportation, and warehousing services, with a strong emphasis on hazardous materials logistics. This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business while growing strategic client relationships.
This role combines hunter-style business development with account management, requiring someone who can aggressively win new business while building long-term partnerships. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint across importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and shippers.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE DIFFERENCE- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, quoting, negotiation, and closing new business.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in drayage, tanker transportation, and warehousing services, including Hazmat and regulated freight solutions.
- Drive consistent revenue growth by converting prospects into active shipping and storage accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to generate repeat business and long-term account growth.
- Develop tailored logistics solutions, including compliant handling, storage and transportation plans for hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory standards (e.g. TDG, DOT, WHMIS as applicable).
- Structure competitive, margin-focused pricing to win business while protecting profitability.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and attend industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline management, and accurate sales reporting.
- Stay informed on market trends, port activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, drayage, or warehousing sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Strong ability to prospect, cold call, and build a pipeline from scratch.
- Experience owning the full sales cycle, from lead generation through close.
- Solid understanding of drayage operations, port logistics, and/or warehousing environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
