Position: Sales Representative - New York City - Neurosurgical

Overview

Field‑based Neurosurgical Sales Representative position  role focuses on promoting and selling Stryker neuroscience products to clinicians and staff across the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Stryker NS products to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings.
  • Dynamically demonstrate product value to healthcare professionals.
  • Track territory progress, update the Regional Manager, and exceed performance goals.
  • Provide on‑site support, troubleshoot product problems, and educate staff on usage and maintenance.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and respond to client needs promptly.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in outside sales (medical device preferred) or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of medical device sales experience.
  • Strong strategic and persuasive selling skills, with a track record of exceeding objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in managing time, projects, stress, and conflict independently.
  • Ability to maintain detailed, confidential records.
  • Willingness to travel (≈20% of time) and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Capacity to work in the fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high work ethic and customer‑focused attitude.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Medium physical work: sometimes exerting up to 50 lbs and regularly up to 20 lbs.
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and foot with strong grasp, visual and auditory discrimination, reading and memory.
  • Exercise discretion and independence, maintain professional ethics, and handle confidential information.
Compensation and Benefits
  • 100% commission based; eligible for bonuses and benefits.
  • Travel allowance≈30% of total compensation.
  • In‑house product training and field sales training provided.
