We are seeking a results-driven Sales Leader to grow revenue for our healthcare data and analytics solutions across payer and provider organizations. This role focuses on selling complex, consultative solutions that enable healthcare organizations to improve clinical, financial, operational, and population health outcomes. The Leader will be responsible for leading sales activities in their respective region for our Data & AI Practice primarily driven by Data, Analytics, AI & ML.

Activities include lead generation, identifying and creating opportunities and closing the same. Key to the role is to inspire customers on their digital transformation and software driven business journey and how Persistent could play an integral part in that journey. Thinking out of the box and demonstrating the art of the possible is key to this role!

The ideal candidate has experience selling enterprise healthcare technology or data products and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across clinical, financial, and IT teams.

This is a strategic sales role that requires deep domain fluency in HLS paired with a proven ability to close complex, seven-figure enterprise deals.

The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor to senior HLS executives and understands how data, AI/ML, and cloud platforms can transform the business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for payer and/or provider accounts
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare executives (C-suite, VP, Director level) across clinical, financial, analytics, and IT functions
  • Lead consultative discoveries to understand customer challenges related to cost, quality, risk, access, and performance
  • Position and sell data, analytics, and insights solutions (e.g., claims, EHR, population health, value-based care, quality, risk adjustment)
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and solutions teams to deliver tailored demos and proposals
  • Navigate complex buying environments and multi-stakeholder decision processes
  • Manage pipelines accurately in CRM and provide regular forecasts
  • Stay current on healthcare industry trends, payer/provider economics, and regulatory driver
Required Qualifications
  • 12–18 years of sales leadership experience in Data, Analytics, Integration, AI/ML within IT services or consulting firms.
  • Proven success selling to the Healthcare (Payor, Provider) customers, managing large deals with annual revenue portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • API-led & Event-driven integration
  • Advanced analytics & ML/AI models
  • GenAI, LLMOps, AI governance & AI transformation programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex consultative sales cycles across Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Proven experience selling to healthcare payers (health plans, PBMs) and/or providers (health systems, hospitals, physician groups)
  • Track record of closing complex, six- and seven-figure enterprise deals
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data (claims, EHR, quality, risk, utilization, population health)
  • Excellent consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to translate technical and analytical concepts into business value
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
