- Develop, expand and maintain strong referral-source relationships across the assigned market.
- Represent hospice services professionally with referral partners, patients, families and community partners.
- Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen existing accounts through consistent outside sales activity.
- Work closely with internal clinical and operations teams to support appropriate referrals and smooth transitions into care.
Requirements
- Hospice and/or Home Health Sales experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare sales, marketing, business development or referral-development experience strongly preferred.
- Established local contacts/referral sources strongly preferred.
- Local market knowledge, job stability and proven, verifiable performance are must-haves.
- Ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources.
- Familiarity with CRM/contact management software preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven healthcare environment.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
