Area Sales Manager

ACO, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow environmental and solid waste management services across the Texas Panhandle. In this field-based role, you will develop new municipal, commercial and industrial accounts, manage existing relationships, and coordinate closely with operations to deliver reliable roll-off, cleanup and environmental support solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, site visits, preparing proposals, pricing, and contract negotiation while ensuring regulatory and safety standards.

You will forecast sales, track performance, and represent ACO's safety-driven, service-focused culture in the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan for environmental and solid waste services
• Prospect, qualify and close new municipal, commercial and industrial accounts
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships to increase revenue and retention
• Conduct site visits and needs assessments to match services to customer requirements
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in line with company standards
• Negotiate terms while maintaining profitability and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with operations to ensure safe, timely, and reliable service delivery
• Track pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools
• Represent ACO, Inc. professionally in the community and at customer locations
• Maintain strong safety and regulatory awareness in all sales activities
