Senior Sales Executive

Forward Air is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across our North American transportation and warehousing network. In this role, you will win new LTL, intermodal, final mile, and truckload customers while expanding relationships with key shippers and 3PLs. You will build strategic sales plans, manage a robust pipeline, and collaborate with operations to ensure safe, on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans for transportation and logistics services
• Prospect, qualify, and close new LTL, intermodal, and final mile accounts
• Grow wallet share within existing shipper and 3
• PL relationships
• Prepare and present pricing proposals and contract agreements
• Collaborate with operations to ensure service quality and on-time performance
• Use CRM to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account activity
• Analyze customer freight data to identify optimization opportunities
• Negotiate complex deals while protecting margin and service commitments
• Represent Forward Air at industry events and customer meetings
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets
