Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Medicine within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).

Under the direct supervision of the Department of Surgery Faculty, will conduct surgical research and support the research mission of the department and the development of team science.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

* Designs/performs experiments, collects/analyzes data, writes manuscripts and presents results.

* Maintain records and files of experimental data and databases.

* Contribute to computational modeling studies in the lab through direct or collaborative involvement.

* Collaborates with other postdocs, residents, students and faculty.

* Participates in evaluation of procedures, suggests revisions, and proposes new procedures.

FLSA Exempt Grade Salary Details Minimum Salary 20,000 Mid Range Salary 90,000 Maximum Salary 200,000 Offer Information

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

* Candidate must hold a M.D. or D.O. and have completed a minimum of two years in post graduate training in surgery residency and have an interest in surgical research.
