What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.

* Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting orderly site operations.

* Assist with access control, badge or credential checks, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

* A guard card and/or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
