What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

* Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate site contacts.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shipping, receiving, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

* Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed, and report suspicious activity, package issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.

* Support daily location operations by observing trailer yards, loading dock activity, and high-traffic areas, and communicating security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be 21+ years of age.

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

* The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

* A guard card or license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
