** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entrances, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, following post instructions for access control, credential checks, and visitor logging.

+ Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Access control/badge experience is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
