** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity according to post instructions.

+ Support loss prevention and operational continuity by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and helping to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruption to daily site operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
