• Patrol terminal security areas and enforce access control using boarding passes, airport badges, access‑control swipes, and security screenings.
• Continuously patrol the following areas:
  • Boundaries between landside and SIDA.
  • Boundaries between landside and secured/sterile areas.
  • Areal where baggage, cargo, and mail are handled before loading onto aircraft.
  • Public facing areas.
  • Back of House (BOH) areas.
• Vary patrol routes and timings regularly to avoid predictability, prioritizing high‑risk zones such as the landside/airside boundary lines and crowded areas.
• Inspect all security‑critical doors to confirm that card readers, door signage, door lock mechanisms, alarms, and break‑glass features are functional and undamaged.
• Enforce visible badge policy: approach individuals without a visible, valid airport badge, request to see the badge, and verify that badge access rights comply with zone requirements.
• Conduct periodic random spot checks of employee and authorized visitor passes to ensure compliance with airport pass regulations.
• Report any unauthorized persons in secured zones to TA SOC and coordinate with PAPD for intervention.

• A current guard card license as required by state or local law.
• A valid state‑issued  driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is highly desirable.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• High integrity and exemplary security skills and judgment.
• Above‑average computer skills.
• Valid licenses, permits, and certifications required by the states and/or countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.
