Physical Security Console Operator - Evening Shift; On-site

We are seeking a Physical Security Console Operator in our Newark, NJ office. You will monitor CCTV, access control, security records, key control, badge issue, site security, equipment, inventory, and safety inspections.

• Oversee physical security of the site to protect assets and personnel.
• Supervise and control personnel access into the facility.
• Monitor and report event alarms from the access control and CCTV systems, badge issues, and historical logs.
• Respond to, evaluate, and resolve event alarms received at the console.
• Conduct roving patrol inspections of the facilities and notify the appropriate authority of any breaches.
• Keep the Security Management Team informed of all security matters and perform additional duties as directed.

The shift is 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Sunday – Thursday, with occasional overtime. The role is on‑site at a Broadridge location.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication with security and facility personnel.
• Vigilant and able to report security issues or incidents.
• Filing and phone courtesy skills.
• Basic computer skills: typing, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to travel and perform related duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour with a 3.5% shift differential. Bonus eligible.
