Public Safety Officer

Overview

• Perform security services, including electronic surveillance and manual round checks.
• Coordinate facility response to potential issues for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring equitable enforcement.
• Follow guidelines and monitoring techniques to maintain a safe workplace.
• Work with the Environment of Care committee to support a multidisciplinary approach to safety.
• Participate in employee awareness and education.
• Drive as needed for company business.

• Experience in healthcare security or related field preferred.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• State driver’s license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.

Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. Estimated range: $15.92 to $21.00 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary options.
