Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or security-related concerns;
Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor and staff directions, and document incidents according to site procedures;
Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, hazards, medical situations, and other security-related matters
