• Aircraft Access Control – ensuring only authorized personnel enter aircraft while on the ground
• Aircraft Ramp Access Control – providing AOA access control and safety oversight while aircraft is on the ground
• Aircraft Search – meticulously searching all areas of the aircraft following company and federal regulations to ensure traveler safety before departure
• Baggage Security – surveillance of baggage room and baggage makeup area to prevent theft or pilferage
• Catering Security – surveillance of catering kitchen and searching all catering equipment to ensure nothing is tampered with during transport from facilities to aircraft
• Passenger Verification – providing exemplary customer service in airport terminal while verifying passengers’  authorization to board flights

This position requires obtaining Airport Badging. The Department of Homeland Security requires an extensive background check (10‑year verifiable background, including criminal, employment, credit, education, and personal references). Must also pass a Security Threat Assessment administered by the Transportation Security Administration.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid state security license
• Upon hire, must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
• Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams as administered by Global Security and Airport Authority
• Must have access to reliable transportation
