The Public Works Department - Division of Buildings & Grounds is seeking a full-time Heating & Air Conditioning Mechanic.
Job Duties:
Under direction, maintains and repairs heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment; does related work as required.
Job Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in work involving the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment.
License:
- Appointees will be required to possess a valid Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Certification of the appropriate level, commensurate with the type of equipment serviced, issued under the authority of the Federal Environmental Protection Agency.
- Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
