- Pay: $30–$42/hr ($62,400–$87,360 annually based on a 40‑hour work week); overtime authorized by leadership.
- On‑Call Pay: $150 per scheduled on‑call shift.
- Paid Time Off:
Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure. - Paid Holidays: 7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- 401(k) Match: 5% employer contribution.
- BGIS Kickoff Tech Program – Choose One: $3,500 cash bonus (paid quarterly), 40 additional hours of floating holidays, or $1,250 technical training reimbursement.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (air handlers, boilers, chillers, ice machines).
- Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and equipment change‑outs.
- Provide excellent customer service and accurate record‑keeping.
- Use company tools: service van, iPad, iPhone.
- Service and install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Service and install new ice machines.
- Do routine maintenance on ice machines and refrigeration.
- Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC to determine required repairs.
- Inspect and perform equipment repair and replacements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and recommend preventative repairs.
- Respond to emergency service requests.
- Provide observations about facility mechanical conditions and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in facility‑related projects.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Work on lightweight commercial equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with industry software preferred but not required.
- EPA Certification.
- 2–5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
- Proficiency in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting:
- Commercial HVAC systems.
- Refrigeration systems and ice machines.
- Chillers, cooling towers, water‑source heat pumps.
- Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
- Wear required PPE.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
- Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
Pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with lightweight commercial equipment.
- Experience with industry software (a plus).
