About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy‑efficient environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, split systems, exhaust fans, and thermostats

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC‑related issues and implement effective solutions

  • Monitor and maintain proper system operations, including air quality and temperature control

  • Inspect systems for wear and tear and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements

  • Maintain service logs, records, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and safety standards

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations

  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests

  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

  • Uphold a professional and respectful environment in resident and patient areas

Qualifications:
  • Valid EPA Section 608 Certification (required)

  • Valid HVAC license as required by state and local regulations

  • Minimum of 2 years of HVAC maintenance experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions

  • High school diploma or GED; completion of an HVAC training program preferred
