Field Service Engineer – X-ray Systems

Modality: X-ray.

Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their field service team and is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support X-ray systems across customer sites in North New Jersey. This is a hands‑on role focused on installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance, with a strong emphasis on service quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with internal technical and operations teams while acting as the primary technical contact for customers in your region.

• Install, service, and repair X-ray imaging systems within your assigned territory
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system calibrations
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently in the field
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve service delivery
• Represent the company professionally and uphold high service standards

We’re looking for a motivated, technically strong engineer who is comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.

• 2+ years of experience servicing or installing medical imaging equipment
• Strong hands‑on experience with X-ray systems
• Solid troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
• Ability to manage workload and territory autonomously
• Willingness to travel locally as required
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
