Field Service Technician I

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

As a frontline technician, you will serve NCR Voyix’s large retail customers, delivering reliable support for our electromechanical equipment, such as self‑checkout systems. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance (PM), and system overhauls, ensuring seamless operation for our clients.

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment (e.g., self‑checkout systems) within an assigned territory.
• Conduct maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls on client sites.
• Organize and triage customer issues, providing solutions before problems escalates.
• Communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner, focusing on finding the right solution for customers.
• Utilize provided virtual and hands‑on classroom training to build technical expertise and contribute to the team’s growth.

• Local candidate for Bridgewater, NJ.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record that meets NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Will travel long distances and drive several hours per day.
• Flexible shift work: rotating shifts, weekend shifts, and some holidays.
• Physical capability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75lb. without assistance, up to 150lb. with assistance.
• Proficiency in bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repetitive grasping and manipulation of objects.
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small‑scale scissor lifts in retail environments.

• Experience with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
• A+ Certification, CompTIA N+ Certification.
• One or more years of related experience.

• Hourly pay range: $17.00 – $20.83 (depending on location and experience).
• Overtime available at time and a half.
• 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays.
• Paid vacation – up to 80 hours in the first year.
