Sr Tech; HVAC

Job Duties

Performs repair and maintenance tasks for FEC facilities and related equipment, ensuring heating and air conditioning meets national, state, or local codes. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED. License requirements per local authority. EPA refrigerant certificate type 2, 3, 4/universal required.
• Minimum Experience:
  
  Five years total, with at least 24 months as a Fed Ex HVAC technician or equivalent maintenance in commercial/industrial HVAC.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  
  Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing or climbing at all heights above and below ground. Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Job Conditions:
  Must be willing to work odd weeks, overtime, holidays and rotating shifts. Valid driver's license required. Must have working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy components. Must remain alert.

$33.00 - $43.41 USD hourly.

Full‑time and part‑time employees who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Employees age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.
