Diesel Technician Duties
  • Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using company-supplied laptops and OEM software while following proper warranty procedures.
  • Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on all components as well as preventative maintenance and reconditioning.
  • Demonstrate well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Attend OEM and dealer training online as well as in-person when required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a diesel technician fleet mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent.
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose and repair engine, aftertreatment, electrical, drivability, transmission, and chassis systems.
  • Experience using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
  • Formal diesel training and OEM certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and drivers, demonstrating teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and the DTNA Elite Support Program.
Shifts Available

Monday-Friday 8:30 A–5 P

Monday-Friday 7 A–3:30 P
