Field Service Apprentice

Field Service Apprentice – Fixed Term (Approximately 6 Months)

Location: Vineland, New Jersey — Onsite, 5 days per week.

Role Duration: July 2026 – December 2026 (≈1,200 hours). This fixed‑term apprenticeship is designed to provide practical experience in maintaining Bloom Energy’s fuel cell servers and supporting infrastructure.

• Become the primary driver for maintaining Bloom Energy servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform fuel cell system maintenance, site upkeep, safety protocols, and issue resolution.
• Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques for diverse electrical and mechanical systems.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced environment.
• Execute sequenced work instructions from written and/or verbal communications.
• Support shift work and travel as needed for training.

• Currently enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Exposure or willingness to learn about 3‑phase electrical systems, UPS systems, electrical and mechanical maintenance, power electronics, Automatic Transfer Switch systems, and microprocessor‑based control platforms.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment, electrical codes, and personal safety procedures is preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety requirements and general troubleshooting techniques.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven, and able to work independently.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and integrity; a team player.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow procedures and execute sequenced work instructions.

Ability to lift 45–50 lbs., work at heights, and work in outdoor weather conditions.

Salary Range: $28.02 – $40.32 per hour. The total compensation includes standard company benefits and is based on various factors, including relevant skills and experience.
