Building
Maintenance Technician for a combined total of 90
-units over two residential properties located in Newark
, NJ
.

• Maintain residential apartment homes and other areas on the property, including building exteriors, interiors, and public areas, regularly.
• Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other repairs in residential apartments and other areas of the property.
• Install tile and laminate flooring.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation schedule, responding to emergency calls according to the company's policy on after‑hour emergency calls.
• Manage the turnover of empty apartment units, including repairs (sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.).
• Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.

  Three+ years of residential multifamily property management/apartment maintenance.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Skill:
  Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• License:
  Valid driver’s license.
• Tools:
  Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
