In-House​/Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems requiring isolation of the malfunction, disassembly, and replacement of bearings, gears, and structural components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
• Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves, and equipment alignments.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks and complete all follow‑up documentation.
• Complete repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems.
• Record maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management Program elements including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, and Operating Procedure Elements.
• Understanding of welding techniques.
• Knowledge of high‑pressure piping systems.
• Knowledge of cryogenic pumps and systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft applications.

Pay Rate: $40.65
