The HVAC Journeyman is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems at assigned client facilities. This position requires an experienced technician capable of independently diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues while providing safe, reliable, and high-quality service.
The Journeyman will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to service calls, identify equipment deficiencies, and work with customers and other ABM team members to maintain equipment reliability and facility operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Advanced HVAC-R troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC controls and building automation.
- Ability to prioritize service calls and make sound technical decisions in the field.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional customer-service orientation.
- Ability to mentor apprentices and share technical knowledge with other team members.
Pay: 48.73/hr the pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
