Maintenance Supervisor III - Pipe Shop

The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (“PVSC”), a publicly-owned wastewater treatment facility located in Newark, New Jersey, is currently seeking a Pipe Shop Maintenance Supervisor III. Created in 1902, PVSC is the 5th largest facility of its kind in the United States, directly serving approximately 1.5 million residents in 48 municipalities located in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union Counties. The 140-acre plant is designed to treat an average of 330 million gallons per day (“mgd”) of wastewater with an annual average flow of approximately 241 mgd.

Position Summary:

Supervisory position responsible for overseeing all pipe fitting functions, including the overhaul, repair, maintenance, and installation of all equipment involving piping. Will schedule and inspect pipe fitting work to ensure performance standards are met for all plumbing and piping systems.
