We are currently seeking a Counter top Fabricator to join our Hudson, NY team.

Position Summary

The Counter top Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and installation support of counter top surfaces while ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role works closely with our Design Center and production team to fabricate custom countertops that meet and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate counter top surfaces according to customer specifications and design requirements.
  • Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and company quality standards.
  • Assist with counter top installations as needed.
  • Review work orders and material selections to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain fabrication equipment, including scheduling sharpening and replacement of tools, blades, and bits.
  • Keep work areas, machines, and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
  • Stage materials and prepare orders for delivery or installation.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and general shop maintenance.
  • Monitor material usage to maximize yield and minimize waste.
  • Report equipment issues, product damage, shortages, or safety concerns to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and required training programs.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers, contractors, and fellow team members.
  • Support overall shop operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications Required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and follow safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred
  • Woodworking experience or related trade skills.
  • Experience working with fabrication tools, machinery, and measuring equipment.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and move materials up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate machinery, hand tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information.
  • Must possess close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
  • Manufacturing and fabrication shop setting.
  • Frequent exposure to noise, dust, and airborne particles.
  • Regular exposure to varying weather conditions when loading, unloading, or assisting with installations.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment and elevated work areas.
