Pest Control Technician

Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
Determine pest infestation types
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining pest-free environments
Advise customers on reducing future infestation risks
Build customer relationships
Schedule and confirm appointments
Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
Maintain, stock, and ensure proper working condition of pest control equipment
Follow local, state, and federal pest control product and safety regulations
Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
• Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
• Available Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Willingness to learn all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills sufficient to follow product-label mixing instructions
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
• Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
• Ability to perform regular sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, including on stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Ability to wear OSHA-compliant personal protective equipment, including a respirator

Demonstrates expertise in pest management services, including inspection, application of pest control products, and customer education. Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build customer relationships while adhering to safety regulations.
