Babco Services is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians—Level I and Level II to support established residential apartment communities throughout Northern New Jersey.

  High-performing technicians may have the opportunity to transition to direct employment with a client after approximately 20 weeks, depending on performance, client needs, and position availability. Some clients may offer apartment discounts or housing benefits after direct hire.

SCHEDULE

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional on-call or weekend rotation, depending on the assignment

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems
• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance
• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Complete work orders accurately and on time
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-operated communities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of three years of working experience
• Multifamily, apartment, commercial, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance skills
• Professional verbal and written English communication skills required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver’s license required
• EPA 608, HVAC, CAMT, OSHA, or related certifications preferred
• Must meet applicable background-screening requirements
