We are hiring a Field Service Specialist to deliver on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of premium automatic pool cover systems. This East Coast-based role is home-based out of our Millville, New Jersey Explore Base but includes travel throughout the United States.

You will be the primary customer-facing specialist in the field—confirming site readiness, diagnosing mechanical and system issues, and feeding field insight back to manufacturing and product teams so covers install cleanly and perform as designed.

• Perform on-site installation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic pool cover systems and retractable operating components.
• Conduct pre-installation site reviews to confirm all requirements are met for a successful installation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and system issues with precision and professionalism.
• Communicate regularly with internal teams and provide field feedback to support continuous product improvement.
• Act as a brand ambassador and the primary point of contact for customers during service visits.
• Provide operational support at Explore Industries other facilities when not in the field.
• Travel is possible throughout the United States from an East Coast home base, with frequent driving and multi-day field assignments.

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, installations, or field-based service work.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency using tools, components, and troubleshooting methods in field environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to homeowners, dealers, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and prioritize effectively.
• Valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to support frequent driving and multi-state travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and climb, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Comfort with frequent travel throughout the U.S.
• Automatic pool cover, pool equipment, or similar mechanical field-service experience preferred.

• Salary Range: $52,000 - $70,000 annually
• Travel expenses and per diem are provided for work related travel
• Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
