Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Per Diem School Social Worker for the School Social Services Department located in Newark, NJ and Palisades Park, NJ. The position requires 18 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Screening and assessment of students
- Individual and group counseling
- Consultation with parents and school staff
- Workshops for students, teachers, and parents
- Documentation and reporting as required
- Attendance at meetings and trainings as required
- Master's Degree
- NJDOE School Social Worker certification
- One year post‑masters experience working as a school social worker
Hourly Rate: $40/hr
