Child Developmental Specialist; CDS

Thera Care is seeking a dynamic Child Developmental Specialist to provide home‑based services in one of the following New Jersey counties:
Atlantic, Camden, Burlington, Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset.

• Provide early intervention treatment to children up to 3 years old with disabilities and developmental delays in various home settings.

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and implement evidence‑based practices such as Applied Behavioral Analysis.

• Submit detailed reports accurately and promptly.

• Collaborate with families, professionals, and community resources to advocate for each child’s needs.

• Travel to multiple settings as required to deliver services.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related health, human service, or education field.

• At least one year of professional experience with children ages birth to 3 who have disabilities or developmental delays.

• If the degree is in another field, a minimum of 6 credits in early childhood development and/or special education.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail in report submission.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary professionals.
