As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve the Salesforce platform. You will code, test, and debug new and existing applications to implement capabilities that solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences. You should bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude, and a continuous learning focus.

Requirements:

• Liaise between business analysts, internal systems team, and external vendors to develop solutions meeting business requirements.
• Conduct programming tasks including design, development, testing, and documentation for complex Salesforce projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to developed solutions.
• Stay updated on Salesforce initiatives and technology trends to improve platform efficiencies.
• Provide daily support to end users, manage issue resolution, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage system issues and escalate to senior management when necessary.
• Facilitate system testing, identify test cases, develop test scripts, and conduct test execution.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and related applications.
• Assist in coordinating production releases within an Agile delivery methodology.
• Write unit, integration, and functional automation tests; research problems and develop solutions.
• Apply understanding of emerging technologies, identify opportunities for team input, and foster learning and innovation.
• Tackle complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of situations or data.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related experience.
• 8+ years of experience with design and development of custom solutions using Apex, Lightning, batch Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce API.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with AWS and other external applications (REST, JSON, Event Streaming, Core Java, Spring Boot).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Problem-solving skills for high-level software and application issues.
• Knowledge of Salesforce development best practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
