Azure AI Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Azure AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Newark, NJ (Hybrid). This role focuses on designing and deploying generative AI solutions, including agentic workflows and RAG applications, for enterprise scalability.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure AI Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and RAG-based applications using Azure AI Foundry and related tools.
• Build, fine-tune, and integrate large language models (LLMs) with enterprise systems and data pipelines.
• Implement evaluation frameworks to monitor model performance, accuracy, and reduce hallucinations.
• Develop scalable AI infrastructure and automate workflows using best practices like CI/CD and version control.
• Ensure adherence to Responsible AI standards, including security, privacy, and model governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions and continuously improve system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI/ML, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML roles.
• Strong expertise in Python, Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML), and frameworks like Lang Chain or Semantic Kernel for building AI/LLM solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying RAG pipelines, AI agents, and scalable AI infrastructure with a focus on Responsible AI, governance, and model evaluation.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
