Job Description: Senior Oracle ETL Developer
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)
Employment Type: 12 Months Contract
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Oracle ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data processing solutions using Oracle, Informatica/ETL, and Linux. This role involves active participation in an Agile scrum team, daily interactions with the product owner, and contributing to the implementation of enterprise screening platforms. You will be responsible for estimating, tailoring, and grooming stories to ensure timely completion.
Key Responsibilities- Actively participate in the scrum team and daily interactions with the product owner.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions in Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL) and Informatica/ETL with Linux.
- Develop highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing.
- Design, model, and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.
- Perform advanced query and application performance tuning in high-volume environments.
- Manage and process large datasets efficiently.
- Estimate, tailor, and groom user stories to completion.
- Engage in limited interactions with client and business partners.
Experience: 15 years of work experience in application development.
Technical Skills- Expertise in developing highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas).
- Strong proficiency with Informatica (Power Center and IDMC) and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and core database internals.
- Proficiency with Hadoop, Tableau, Power BI, and Jira.
- Experience in Financial Crimes, Economic Sanctions, Banking, or Financial Services sectors.
- Experience integrating Data Warehouse solutions with Business Intelligence platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau development and dashboard visualization.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with containers and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Exposure to APIs, Spring, Java, Kafka, MQ, and YAML.
- Experience with distributed systems.
The pay rate for this position is between $63.00 and $68.26 per hour. This employer offers a comprehensive benefits package.
