Software Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) Early Career

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking an Early Career Systems Engineer to participate in the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD products and technologies, including weapons, radars, and Command & Control systems. The role involves using mathematical models and simulations to perform mission analysis, Con Ops development, gap analysis, system requirements validation, and performance prediction in Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Air Warfare.

Candidates should have a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field with 2 years’ experience (or a Master’s with 0 years), knowledge of Java, GIT, Linux commands, software design and testing, and strong communication skills. Desired skills include Agile processes, C++/Python, software life-cycle development, and object-oriented design. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret-level DoD security clearance.
