The Router role is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor position focused on building, updating, and optimizing delivery routes. This position is responsible for planning routes, adjusting delivery schedules, calculating travel times, and making real‑time corrections based on operational needs. The Router works closely with routing technology platforms and must maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency. This role typically reports to either the Transportation Manager or the Routing Supervisor.
REQUIRMENTS:- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a routing role within a private fleet, distribution environment, trucking company, or 3PL organization.
- Practical experience with routing systems such as Roadnet or Peoplenet.
- Competence with common computer applications, including AS400 and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work a consistent afternoon-through-evening shift
, aligned with a Sunday–Thursday schedule.
