- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of the bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
- Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Courteously assist customers, answer questions, and direct them to the Facility Manager if needed.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the garage.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items at applicable locations.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
- Education/
Experience:
Less than high‑school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - License:
Valid state driver’s license, current address and an acceptable DMV record. - Availability:
Willingness to work third shift and/or weekends as required. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
Write simple correspondence;
Present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two‑digit numbers and use units of American money. - Appearance:
Maintain neat and clean appearance, be in complete uniform at all times. - Physical Demands:
Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds. - Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
$19.25 per hour. This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
