Yard Jockey CDL A

Position Summary

This is a yard switching position moving 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks throughout the yard and to docks using a yard horse.

Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times are required in order to successfully meet the business needs.

• 1am-9am
• Every Saturday and Sunday Required
• Two days off in the middle of the week

Full-Time

Farmland Fresh Dairies, Newark

• CDL A: $31.50/hr (1 year experience as a Yard Jockey or Switcher with the CDL A required)
• $7,000 sign-on bonus
• Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance
• Time off Package which includes Vacation, Sick and Holidays
• No touch freight or heavy lifting

• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean MVR
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience working as a Yard Jockey or switcher with the CDL
• Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification)
• Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Experience using a yard horse preferred but not required
• Must have the availability to work overtime hours and holidays
