Position Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Delivery Driver to make deliveries to and from the pharmacy, clinics, and resident homes. The Pharmacy Delivery Driver may provide assistance in the pharmacy when no deliveries are scheduled.
Hours: Deliveries will be scheduled between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday (subject to change depending on the number of medications needing to be delivered). This role helps cover calls out and PTO.
Location: 160 US Highway 9, Room 11, Bayville, NJ 08721
Primary Responsibilities- Load vehicles with medications/products for delivery
- Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous manner
- Verify receipt and obtain signature for items delivered
- Process any required paperwork according to established procedures
- Shred paperwork for disposal
- Assist in maintaining a clean pharmacy environment by performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and trash disposal
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, follow maps, and use mobile applications for directions
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to use own vehicle for deliveries
- Previous experience as a company courier or driver
- Customer service experience
- Retail experience
Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution, subject to eligibility requirements. All wages comply with applicable minimum wage laws.
