CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver | Avenel, NJ

We're hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal position based in Avenel, NJ. This opportunity offers daily home time, a 4-day work schedule, competitive mileage and load pay, and consistent intermodal freight.

Drivers haul intermodal containers between rail facilities and customer locations while enjoying three days off each week.

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200–$1,800
• Mileage Pay: $0.61 CPM
• Load Pay: $55 per load
• Average Weekly Miles: 1,100–1,700 miles
• Weekly direct deposit

Actual earnings vary based on miles driven, loads completed, and freight availability.

• Home Daily

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer hauling intermodal containers
• Complete approximately 3–4 or more trailer hookups per shift
• Transport freight between rail yards, terminals, and customer locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain electronic logs and DOT compliance
• Work with dispatch to ensure safe, on-time deliveries

• No-touch intermodal container freight
• Drop-and-hook freight
• Live load and live unload opportunities
