About the job Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist
General
Purpose:
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory count and quality assurance, as well as researching and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Properly researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
- Oversees process to ensure compliance to inventory processes and procedures.
- Maintains and prepares various records and reports.
- Receives and replies professionally to customer requests.
- Properly makes adjustments within the warehouse management system to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Correctly counts product and performs counts to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Safely stages material within designated areas as necessary.
- Ensures compliance to inventory and quality processes and procedures.
- Correctly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
- Safely operates various equipment and tools.
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are job requirements.
- The ability to get along with others and non-violence is a job requirement to consistently promote a positive team.
- Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.
- Identifies any quality issues and immediately notifies supervisor.
- Occasionally work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Perform other tasks and/or duties as they may be assigned.
- Conducts oneself and operates equipment and acts in accordance with all company policies, safety rules, regulations, laws, including wearing proper personal protective equipment.
- Conducts oneself in a positive professional manner at all times.
- Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend training sessions to upgrade knowledge.
- Continually recommend measures to improve production and quality methods, equipment performance and use, safety and workplace environment.
- Make suggestions for improving the company.

- Email communication with customer
- Inventory cycle count (physical) and ability to update the WMS system
- Forklift, Cherry picker
- Reliable
- Flexible (work on weekends or holidays) as needed
- High school diploma. 2 year associates degree preferred
- Inventory control or Warehouse experience 2 to 3 years preferred
- Good verbal and written communication in English
