Job DescriptionQualifications/Requirements:
Applicant must: possess valid School Psychology License. Prefer candidate with minimum of a Master's Degree or Alternate Pathways with Nationally Certified School Psychologist Credential. Be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student. Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate an understanding of child development. Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective interventions for students with pervasive developmental disorders.
Demonstrate the ability to work, collaborate and communicate with parents, students, and staff in a school setting. Demonstrate the ability to assess student needs and determine appropriate recommendations. Be familiar with developmental patterns of children and youth. Be willing to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Document recent professional growth activities. Possess knowledge and understanding of various individual ability, achievement tests, behavior assessments, and working memory assessments.
Be resourceful in working with staff and parents to plan appropriate intervention. Demonstrate knowledge of the Ohio Model Policies and Procedures for the Education of Children with Disabilities. Be acceptable to the Director of Student Services and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel. Deadline for Application:
