Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicant must:

• hold a valid Ohio Elementary teaching license Pre-K-3 with reading endorsement, Pre-K-3 with 4-5 endorsement, Pre K - 5, K-1-8 certificate
• be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student
• demonstrate skill in effective classroom management and student engagement
• use data to drive instruction
• demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the elementary grade student
• be willing to promote activities to build positive self-esteem in elementary level students
• be committed to providing an educational environment that nurtures academic & personal growth of students
• demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction
• be open to reviewing current research and actively participating in staff development opportunities to promote personal and professional growth
• be open to instructional coaching
• incorporate technology into the classroom
• have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff and parents
• be willing to work as part of a team
• be acceptable to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel
